What does ‘In Common’ mean to you? Recently we announced the theme for the 2023 edition of the festival: ‘In Common’. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be posting a number of reflections from our #LFA2023 Curation Panel discussing what the 2023 Festival theme means to them, to inspire event organisers’ thinking ahead of the call for entries in January 2022. For the first time since COVID restrictions were lifted, Experience Haus was able to run its popular one day hackathon from their new London studio - and I was pleased to film, edit and produce their wrap-up video. The day was incredible to shoot, with a plethora of individual different stories to capture, contrasting against the overall team-building focus and collaborative atmosphere which I integrated into the video. Featuring highlights of the day's briefings from Creative Director, Amit Patel, and feedback from the client, 'Action Aid', this wrap-up video was a true pleasure to produce!

Welcome to the sixth episode within the #LFA2023 Curation Panel series in which I filmed, edited, produced, and interviewed each curation panelist to discuss their thoughts on this year's theme: 'In Common'. This time I'm joined by Melodie Leung, Associate Director of Zaha Hadid Architects. Melodie shares how the theme should inspire event organisers to actively search for ways to collaborate, and how she'd love to see ambitious projects that are multidimensional, multicultural, and encompass multi stories.
